Google Reader is getting a headstone, right next to Google Friend Connect and other various Google services, on July 1, 2013.  You have options to follow your favorite blogs available, and you can read more about them here.  One can assume that if they are getting rid of Google Reader, possibly Feedburner is next.  Just a guess. This also prompted me to update my email address to the domain email.  We are no longer using Google services for email.  Please note that my email address is now Oh yeah, and this week, I discovered that Barnes & Noble in my town closed up shop on me.  It was a night of epic sadness when I found out.  Thank god for ereaders.  (and it’s not the end of the world – there are two more within a 20-minute-no-traffic drive, but they are in MALLS.  Booo to malls.)

The following two tabs change content below.
Jennifer is both a book nerd and professional photographer. That means she lives in the fantasy world all the time, whether of her making, or someone else's. She collects books like the Duggar family collects kids, and began waiting for her Hogwarts letter at the tender age of 33.

  1. Sign of Seven released around my birthday one year in October and it was perfect. Great series..enjoy, have a great week! Sorry about your B&N. I will be recommending Feedly for following through RSS in my BT&T post this week.

  2. Very nice. Sign of Seven looks interesting. I hope you like all your new books. I’m also doing a giveaway of an Amazon/B & N/ or books up to $25 for Book Depository on my blog. Great haul. Sorry to hear about your B & N.\n\nGrace

  3. I’m so sorry to hear about your B&N closing. i personally chose Bloglovin, but only because I didn’t want to download Feedly. I hope you enjoy your new books (Firebrand looks good) and have a great week!
