Coming up this week?
Well, currently I’m in Michigan visiting my mother, but I’m going to try to get a really awesome co-review up of The Perks of Being A Wallflower with April and Bex of My Shelf Confessions! It’ll be fun! Kristina also has a couple more scary movie reviews as we get closer to Halloween (muahahahah) – and a cover reveal coming! Don’t forget about Indie Author Excerpts – this week will feature Jon Fore’s Remnant Few. Look for it on Friday!
Stephanie at Cuddlebuggery is a bad, bad influence. We met up at the Fierce Reads Tour stop at the Bethesda Library to hang out with authors Gennifer Albin, Caragh O’Brien, Leigh Bardugo, and Marie Rutkoski. Since I got there early, I perused the used book sale racks and came away with 4 books. Since I’m in Michigan, and I forgot to photograph them, I can only remember that one is a big Stephen King tome, another was by Jennifer Weiner and…well I’m lost on the other two. I am proud to say I picked them up for a total of $4 though. Pics next week, I promise. Since I was there for the Fierce Reads Tour, my main objective was books by those authors. Who’s on a book buying ban now? This girl. I bought every book available by those authors. $99 later, there I was, getting them all signed and peeing my pants a little bit. It was an expensive day.
Hey, I could have worst spending habits than books.

Important Update if you subscribe to The Bawdy Book Blog via RSS or Email!
Google is a business and as such, businesses like to make money. There have been rumors circulating on the web here, here and here (okay, so the last one is less rumor and more fact) that Feedburner, the free Google service that feeds your content to people’s RSS readers, is going away next month. Or, at least the API is, which means third parties can’t use the client (ie – widgets). This means that anyone already subscribed to the old feed needs to re-subscribe to the new feed here at The Bawdy Book Blog. Why? Because I was proactive and decided to boot Feedburner before they could boot me.
Resubscribe by clicking the button – unless you’ve already clicked the button, then don’t click the button, I don’t know what’ll happen, black-hole like spontaneous implosion?
Thanks to my job for my epic mailbox this week! Without you, I would be too poor to buy books!
