The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Last week on The Bawdy Book Blog

It has been a heck of a time catching up over the last couple of weeks, so there hasn’t been that many posts, but that’s gonna change next week, boys & girls!

Yep, that was it.  Pretty sorry, right?

Coming up this week?

  • Review: LEVEL 2 by Lenore Appelhans
  • Movie Review: Iron Man 3
  • Discussion Post: Books I Should Have (Read) But Haven’t?!

Hopefully I find time while I’m on vacation to write a couple of other reviews, too.  I’m behind.

The Bawdy Book Blog is now  I’ve been asked by a bunch of people, “Why the change?”

Well, for a lot of reasons:

  1. The URL was really long.  Typing is actually longer than I ever wanted it to be, but some provider was squatting on and I was too cheap to buy it from them when I bought my domain (my blogspot was
  2. People verbally confuse “bawdy” and “body.”  For freakin’ real, they do.  I had to spell it out every time.
  3. We were getting a lot of smut requests. We are primarily a YA blog, which leads me into…
  4. The name was polarizing.  The header was beautiful and awesome (thanks, Parajunkee!) but it screamed that I read only paranormal, dystopian and romance.  Which we did at one time, but all of us are pretty broad in reading tastes actually.
  5. Dudes.  Nerdhuffing is just flippin’ cool-sounding. Thanks to my BFF and co-reviewer Amanda.  The name was her brainchild.

I’ll do a post soon on the entire ordeal.  And ordeal it was. Nope, had to switch back!  UGH!   Okay, SO.  I came back with a lot of books from RT.  I’m spreading the wealth.  All these books you see in the picture below are going to be a part of my Summer of Giveaways!   I’m partnering with as well, so you can enter for more books at their site, too!  I MEAN, HOW AWESOME IS THIS, I DON’T THINK IT CAN GET ANYMORE AWESOME THAN THAT.  Oh yeah, and some of them are signed.  But don’t ask me which ones, because I forget.

Have a great week, peeps!

Jennifer is a bona fide book nerd. She thinks "bookworm" sounds gross and secretly gains pleasure at the pained looks her husband often shoots at her personal library. She collects books like the Duggar family collects kids, and began waiting for her Hogwarts letter at the tender age of 33.
