ANNA and the FRENCH KISS by Stephanie Perkins

LOLA and the BOY NEXT DOOR by Stephanie Perkins

Stephanie Perkins stopped in DC on tour with Ellen Oh, Victoria Schwab, Jessica Spotswood and Megan Sheperd yesterday, so I decided to stop by and say hello, and determined that I would NOT be buying a books because I’m in wedding-saving mode.  I even asked Steph from Cuddlebuggery to stop me if I went near the table.  Steph wasn’t going to buy any either…

I bought two, Steph bought three. Ha!  Who says bloggers don’t support authors?!

  • There’s a new reading app in town and it’s called Literally – check it out!  It’s in beta right now, so you need an invite, so if anyone has an invite, I’ll pay them in retweets and lots of looooove.  Anyone?  Bueller?  Will I be reduced to begging?

  1. Dang… I think I just lost an hour of my life reading about Kathleen Hale’s “WTF?” behavior. Well, I can say I found another cool blog to follow AND I’m sure our library won’t be ordering that book 🙂 😛 Great job not buying books at the signing – like that would ever happen!!!!!!!! I usually drop at least $100 each time 🙁 Have a great week!!!

  2. WOW I just read the post about Kathleen Hale, I have seen that book quite a few times. So sad. The review wasn’t even bad at all. I tend to go places and say “Walk in get what you need and walk out” 300 dollars later I say “Ok next time I will walk in get what I want and walk out” 🙂 Have a great sunday!!! Michelle
