This Week

It’s embarrassing to admit how much I danced when I opened the package I received in the mail yesterday.  I was standing in the bedroom and my boyfriend brings in this monstrous shipping envelope and says, “It’s from HarperCollins.”  I was expecting something from them per an email I had received on Monday, so I smiled (because who doesn’t like getting packages, DUH) and ripped open the envelope. These were not the books I was expecting!  Total surprise!  I am a little behind everyone else; I haven’t read the Lorien Legacies books yet (I know, I know!!), but the first two have been on my TBR list FOREVA! So when I pulled them out of their package and laid them out on our bed, I just kind of stared at them for approximately 30 seconds.  And then I started jumping around the room in complete happiness.  My boyfriend told me I looked like a two-year-old.  I didn’t care.  He was probably just super jelly of my mad dancing skills.

A huge thank you to Harper/HarperTeen for such an epic mailbox this week!  You guys rock my socks!

I hope everyone else had a great week as well!

I don’t know about you, but I believe in and find magic every day.  Especially in books.

I love this image because it really reflects how I feel about life. It’s all about perspective and SEEING the magic…not necessarily looking for it or waiting for it to appear. Does that make sense? I may not make sense. That’s usually the case with me…
