I have three tattoos. I have an ankh with the eye of horus on my lower left leg, the drama masks on the top of my right foot (That was really really painful!), and a little demon horned skull with wings right on the top of my back. None are really related to my heritage at all. I do want to get my family crest done, but the name changed so much it’s hard to find the correct one!

I have no tattoos, but I plan on getting my cat’s paw print on my foot and the say “born to die” on the side of my foot. I want that phrase because I want it to remind me that life is short so I need to live it to its fullest and have no regrets.

  3. Ning

Wow no. I’m scared that it’s going to hurt too much lol. I’m a bit too sissy to get a tattoo I guess.

  4. Amber Garcia

I dont have a tattoo yet, but I have been looking aroung for an artist I want a butterfly tatto with scrolls on either side and my 2 daughters names on each side. Im just really picky and cant find a tattoo artist that has satisfied my ideal tatto

  5. Anne

Nope, just the standard one piercing in each ear and no tats. My sister with 7 or 8 has enough for both of us.

  6. Na

No tattoos or unique piercings for me. I like meaningful tattoes on people and it makes me curious as to the story behind it. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

  7. Mary Ann Woods

No interesting piercings, just doubles in each ear. And no tattoos at all, yet — I’m only 62!

  8. debbie

I have tried piercings, but I have really bad reactions to them, so I can’t do those anymore. I would like to get a tattoo but I can’t decide what to get.

  9. Rachelle

I don’t even have my ears pierced. I’m kind of conservative about things like that. Other people look fine with tattoos/piercings, but I just don’t think I would.

  10. Yeah – I’m not a big fan of pain. I much prefer to admire tattoos on others. I have always wanted one, but I know I wouldn’t make it through the process. But I do have a family cookbook that my mom made for me. It has a lot of favorite recipes from grandparents and great-grandparent. That is probably one of the things I treasure most as far as family history. Thanks so much for the chance to win! Kendra

nope i’ve got nothing. I have this fear that i’ll regret it as soon as i get a tattoo, so pretty much i’m too much of a wuss : )

  12. Christy Mullins

I have 4 tattoos although none relate to heritage. I have Dolphins on my back, stars on my left foot, my son’s name on my right ankle and a Infinity symbol on my ring finger. Thanks for the chance to win!

  13. Lauren

I have a tat of Piglet on my ankle. I’ve loved Piglet since I was a kid and my kids get a kick out of it too. I’m looking for something more meaningful in my next one though.

  14. Elizabeth Hyatt (BookAttict)

I’ve got lots of ink, but none of it has anything to do with my heritage (I’m 100% Polish). I have an Asian-style dragon from shoulder blade to hip, a lotus in the center of my back….just to name a few.. elizabeth @ bookattict . com

  15. Tiff Pull

I have no ink and just my ears pierced but my mom had that done when i was an infant so i don’t think it counts. I’m scared of needles so nothing else for me.

  16. June

No ink and only ears pierced. I have been thinking of getting a tattoo of either a shamrock or a sunflower. Both would remind me of my grandfather.

Hey, I’m half Irish and half Sicilian too (half Gaelic/half garlic)! My current tats are not heritage related, but my next planned one is a Tudor rose

I have three, and a few more to come. The first one is a cross on the back of my neck. I grew up in a Christian home, and that faith has helped me through so much in my life. The second is a frog and a fly on my foot. The next one is a frog between my shoulder blades in a pond kind of setting. And oh, the plans I have for more! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  21. I have no tattoos, but my tongue is pierced. It is not a reflection of my heritage – it is a reflection of my roommates in college basically kidnapping the dorm’s bookworm and making her join in on the group bonding activity. This happened back when facial piercings were NOT common.

I’m too much of a wuss to get a tattoo. Although, I have always wanted to get a frog. michedt at yahoo dot com
