In My Mailbox (11)

In My Mailbox is a weekly book blogger meme hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren that let’s bloggers showcase any books they’ve received and/or purchased over the last week. Make sure you stop by her blog to check it out and add your name to the linky!

What’s in my mailbox this week?

I am subscribed to Ereader News Today on Facebook and they are so amazing, they post cheap and/or free ebooks multiple times throughout the day, filling my feed with lots of book-hoarding reading goodness.  I just can’t resist poking around when they post and snatching a few up. The books below are strangely rated higher on Amazon and low on Goodreads.  But I figure free is free and if I get around to reading them, then great!  I can attest to Lindsay Buroker’s writing, however.  I reviewed her novella, Flash Gold, and I just love her writing style, so when I saw that The Emperor’s Edge was one of her books, I was really excited!

From Amazon.com, for the Kindle App on iPad:

From Harper for review:

For those interested in reading any of these, they are free right now (but I don’t know how long they will be free).

And pre-order these two, releasing in early 2012!

So did you all get anything great this week? Link me up!

Jennifer is a bona fide book nerd. She thinks "bookworm" sounds gross and secretly gains pleasure at the pained looks her husband often shoots at her personal library. She collects books like the Duggar family collects kids, and began waiting for her Hogwarts letter at the tender age of 33.

Cool IMM, thanks for stopping by mine. Parallel Worlds sounded cool with the Chopra quote, but it’s reviews aren’t inspiring.

I’m going to have to check out that FB page now, TFS. I find it interesting to try out new authors. You’re right, free is free. If we have time, then great. If not, no big deal, no money lost. Enjoy your new reads :0) My IMM

  3. Exactly. However, I just requested a bunch of ARCs and Galleys, so the chances of me readings even half of these are pretty low. I’ll definitely be reading The Emperor’s Edge, and maybe North of Sunset. Also of course the Harper Books.
