In My Mailbox (10)

In My Mailbox is a weekly book blogger meme hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren that let’s bloggers showcase any books they’ve received and/or purchased over the last week. Make sure you stop by her blog to check it out and add your name to the linky!

What’s in my mailbox this week?

Not that I need to do this, but the other night, I was trolling for books on B&N & Amazon.  I don’t typically do this, so I’m not sure what was wrong with me.  Something I caught?  Am I contagious?  I mean, my TBR list is really quite long, so I honestly have no excuse for spending any money whatsoever on books.  No excuse.  None.  Anyway, there were a few books I stumbled across (and one I’ve been meaning to get for awhile) that I picked up.

From, for the Kindle App on iPad:

From Barnes & Noble for the Nook App on iPad:

For those interested in reading any of these, they are super cheap right now (oops, except for Wither, it’s back up to $9.99; I paid $5.99):

  • $0.00 for The Abandoned by Amanda Stevens (yes, people, FREE!)
  • $0.99 for Transformation by Christina Garza
  • $0.99 for The Fallen Star by Jessica Sorensen (and the sequel is only $2.99!)

So did you all get anything great this week? Link me up!

Those are great prices. Argh, I paid full price for The Abandoned, but it was worth it. I’ve read Wither and The Abandoned already, but have not heard of the other two. Mmm, about the TBR pile… I have 500+ books on my GR list and 40+ books on my kindle and I STILL buy books. I swear, it’s an addiction *shrugs* My IMM

  2. I remembered seeing The Fallen Star cover somewhere, but other than that, I haven’t heard of the second two either. The synopsis for both looked pretty good though. How was The Abandoned? I LURVED The Restorer, so I’m really excited to finally read it. I bow down to Amanda Stevens’ greatness!
