As many of you may have heard by now, Google has made the decision to only allow use of its GFC widget on Google websites and blogs (you can find that article here). This may (probably will) affect how you follow The Bawdy Book Blog, because it’s self-hosted and was moved to WordPress.org in July. You’ll no longer have the option of using GFC to follow and get content, however there are plenty of other ways you can follow:
You can also continue using Google Reader to get the latest from The Bawdy Book Blog, just click the button:
If you use another reader to catch up on news and blogs, click the little gray RSS button at the top right of the blog header to get the feed. By and large, my favorite way of keeping up with blogs I really love is via email subscription (ironically how I found out about this little debacle!). If you’d like to try that out, please subscribe in the left hand column of the page near the top.
That’s it, I think I’ve covered everything! I was initially pretty upset with Google for doing this, but after a good night’s sleep and some thought, I’ve determined that this approach will give me the push I need to utilize social networking more than I currently do and in return, provide a much more holistic view of The Bawdy Book Blog’s readership.
