Fierce Reads Tour Stops By DC

Last Friday evening, the Fierce Reads Spring 2014 Tour stopped into DC for a couple of days!  Our awesome #YADC group decided to do another meet-up at our beloved Hooray for Books in Alexandria, Virginia so we could hang out and listen to four fabulous authors.  This stop was moderated by the fabulous Gabrielle of Modge Podge Bookshelf, who did a tremendously amazing job leading the discussion!

Books On Tour

Anna Banks had just finished saying no one can speak after Marie since she’s such a good speaker LOL!

I’m on a book-buying ban until after the wedding, so I didn’t get to buy any books this time (normally, I’ll buy ALL THE BOOKS!).  But I did bring my ARC of The Winner’s Curse for Marie to sign!
One more to add to the collection.

We also went out to dinner together (sans authors who were there with their publicists) because that’s what YADC does!  Shenanigans always prevail when we get together, so check out the YADC hashtag on Instagram to see a few really great (I promisssse) pictures.  Like this one.  And this one. You can also search the YADC hashtag on twitter (linked at the top) to keep track of all the stuff we do.  Are you following us on Twitter yet?

Jennifer is a bona fide book nerd. She thinks "bookworm" sounds gross and secretly gains pleasure at the pained looks her husband often shoots at her personal library. She collects books like the Duggar family collects kids, and began waiting for her Hogwarts letter at the tender age of 33.
