It’s the last day of 2014, which also means it’s the last day of the 2014 Audiobook Challenge, hosted by The Book Nympho and Hot Listens!  In 2013, I listened to a grand total of 5 audios.  How did I fare in 2014? My Goal: Stenographer (can listen while multi-tasking) 10-15 I actually listened to 17 audios (and I didn’t listen while mutlitasking):

Still listening to:

  • Under the Mistletoe with Me by Kristen Proby (currently listening)
  • Sway by Kat Spears (currently listening)

I almost quadrupled my audios this year!  I think that deserves a big pat on the back.  I likely would have cleared twenty if not for the wedding and taking loads of time off; I normally listen to audios while getting ready for work in the morning. Things I noticed this year during the challenge:

  • I found myself becoming super picky about narrators
  • I became lazier in my reading; I realized I wanted to listen more than I wanted to read, because listening requires less effort LOL
  • I could easily become an audiobook hoarder
  • I remember more of the story with audios

I can’t wait for the 2015 Audiobook Challenge! This is the year I make it to 25.
