A Summer of Giveaways

Welcome to A Summer of Giveaways!  This giveaway is hosted by us and ReadingTeen.net, so make sure you stop over there to check out their great summer of giveaways, too!\r\nWhat’s a summer of giveaways, you ask?  Well, it’s a chance for us to clear our shelves before a bunch of great fall titles come out and for you to score awesome books!  Each Thursday for 12 weeks, beginning June 20th in celebration of Summer of course, we will feature a giveaway where the winner gets to choose their book from the giveaway pile!  Can we possibly use any more exclamation points?!  We don’t think so!

\r\n

This giveaway features YA, NA and Adult titles, but mostly YA. All signed books will be noted as such. We’re going to clone this post each week, so if a book is crossed off the list, it is no longer available. Please keep that in mind!  Since the giveaways run right into each other (one ends and another begins at virtually the same time), we will update this post with what is available.

School’s out and summer’s begun, let’s get our reading on!

The following two tabs change content below.
Jennifer became addicted to books when she randomly picked up a Sweet Valley High book in grade school. She never looked back. After blowing through the SVH and SVU series faster than her parents could put them in her hands, she began perusing her stepfather's bookshelves and reading fantasy like Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality series, which she still maintains is some of the best fantasy ever. She collects books like the Duggar family collects kids and began waiting for her Hogwarts letter at the tender age of 33.

  1. My favorite summer memory was taking a boat ride over to one of the islands here on the coast of NC and spending the day with my family collecting shells, watching the wild horses that live on the island, and just relaxing in the sun & surf.

I think a couple summer memories from this summer was going back to iowa and seeing a couple of my close friends & spending time with them and their kids, taking my kids to the pool, & just being lazy over the summer. I was glad that we haven’t had a too terribly hot summer. we were able to enjoy going to the pool and not roasting our butts off in 100+ weather. My kids went back to school middle of the month though so for us summer has been over for a couple weeks. we’re going to try and get in a swim before the end of the season this weekend though.

My favorite summer memory would have to be all the times my older sister took me out somewhere. I can tell she’s doing an effort to keep our bond closer than far and she’s trying. I just wish it wasn’t so awkward all the time. Either way, her taking me out to eat and shopping were the best this summer 😀

I didn’t do much this summer, but I think my favorite memory would be volunteering at the library. I met new people and found new books. (:

I just came back from a short camping trip with three of my closest friends yesterday. It was definitely the highlight of the summer because two have graduated (one of which is going to college next month) and the third one is returning to school with me for senior year. It was our last get together before summer break ends.

My favorite summer memory was going to the UK this summer! I went to London and then Edinburgh, Scotland to perform in the Fringe Festival! (:

Well, my all-time favorite summer memory was being a counselor at an outdoor environmental camp on the California Coast.

Going to my aunt’s house and swimming in her pool and playing cards. We always had such a blast.
